marginalia:
If you must pick only one link from this page, it would be marginalia. It's primarily a search engine, but it only references sites where a real human thought 'I'm gonna make something for the people to see'. It has its own crawler and it really feels like being on the internet as it was supposed to be. I discovered most of the sites of this page by using the 'explore' feature, of course there is a lot of garbage, unfinished/broken sites, but even that way, using the explore page for 10 minutes, feels like it gives me a hundred times more ideas and new things to think about than scrolling on any social media, it fuels the brain instead of draining it. Marginalia is probably also why I made this website.

battle of the bits is a website initially dedicated to 8 bit music, but it is now open to other musics and even graphical arts. It works in battles, where each competitor posts his piece and vote for the pieces of the others based on different metrics. Its fun, and people there seem to all be very nice, in addition to be talented.
